What do I need to know about Celebrex?

Do not take Generic Celebrex without advice from your doctor if you have the asthma, hives or allergic reaction to sulfate medication such as sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim, Septra, Gantanol and others) or sulfisoxazole (Gantrisin); aspirin or other means of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory therapy, such as celecoxib (Celebrex), ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, Nuprin, and others), naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn, Anaprox), ketoprofen (Orudis KT, Orudis, Oruvail), diclofenac (Voltaren, Cataflam), diflunisal (Dolobid), etodolac (Lodine, Lodine XL), fenoprofen (Nalfon), flurbiprofen (Ansaid), indomethacin (Indocin), ketorolac (Toradol), meloxicam (Mobic), nabumetone (Relafen), oksaprozin (Daypro), piroxicam (Feldene), sulindac (Clinoril), or tolmetin (Tolectin).

Immediately call your doctor if you have abdominal pain, painful condition, or general discomfort, nausea, vomiting blood, bloody, black stools, unexplained weight gain, edema, or accumulation of fluid in the body, tiredness or lethargy, skin rashes, itchy skin; yellowing of the skin or eyes; "cold in" state, bruising or bleeding. All these symptoms may be early signs of dangerous side effects.

What do I need to discuss with your doctor before taking Celebrex?

Before taking Celebrex, tell your doctor if you:

• smoking;
• use alcohol;
• suffer from ulcers or gastric bleeding;
• suffer from liver diseases;
• suffer from kidney disease;
• you have a blood disease;
• you are arteriosclerosis (stiffness of the arteries, clogging or blocking of the arteries);
• you have asthma;
• you have congestive heart failure;
• you have accumulated fluid in the body;
• have heart disease;
• you have high blood pressure;
• you have a clotting of blood, or you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) such as warfarin (Coumadin); or
• taking steroids such as prednisone (Deltasone and others), methylprednisolone (Medrol and others), prednisolone (Prelone, Pediapred and others), etc.

If you suffer from one or more of the conditions listed above, or are taking any of these drugs, you cannot take Celebrex, or you may require a special dosage adjustment and monitoring during its use.

Generic Celebrex belongs to the category C classification FDA pregnancy. This means that it is unknown whether the drug has adverse effects on the fetus. Celebrex should not be taken late in pregnancy (third trimester), because the drug may have an impact on the formation of the heart of the child. Before taking the medicine, tell your doctor if you are pregnant.

It is not known whether the drug passes into breast milk. If you are breast-feeding, do not take Phentermine without consulting a doctor.

In case any of the following serious side effects, stop taking the drug and consult a doctor:

• allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, tongue, or hives).

More likely emergence of other, fewer serious side effects. Continue taking this medication and tell your doctor if you experience.

• flatulence or diarrhea;
• dizziness;
• headache or
• insomnia.

Celebrex interact with other drugs?

Before taking Generic Celebrex, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medications:

• aspirin or other salicylic (forms of aspirin) such as salsalate (Disalcid), choline salicylate-magnesium salicylate (Trilisate, Tricosal, others), and magnesium salicylate (Doan's, Bayer Select Backache Formula, others);
• OTC remedy against coughs, colds, allergies, or pain relievers that contain dextromethorphan, aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or ketoprofen;
• diuretics (diuretics) such as furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDiuril, others), chlorothiazide (Diuril, others), chlorthalidone (Hygroton, Thalitone) and others;
• angiotensin, converting enzyme (ACE inhibitors) such as benazepril (Lotensin), captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), moexipril (Univasc), Kinupril (Accupril), and others;
• steroids such as prednisone (Deltasone and others), methylprednisolone (Medrol and others), prednisolone (Prelone, Pediapred, and others), and others;
• anticoagulants (blood thinners) such as warfarin (Coumadin);
• lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid, others);
• fluconazole (Diflucan) or ketoconazole (Nizoral).

If you are taking any of these drugs, you will be able to take Celebrex, or require a dosage adjustment and take the medicine under medical supervision.

Generic Celebrex may interact with other drugs not listed in this guide. If you receive other prescription drugs and medicines, including vitamins, minerals and herbs, you should consult with your doctor.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Keep container tightly closed. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
